Tech Trek 2019
Tech Trek is a week-long residential camp at Stockton University for 8th grade girls who are interested in the STEM fields. In previous years campers participated in numerous hands-on experiences including coding, developing lip gloss, and using a 3D Printer. The meeting with professional women who are employed in the STEM field was a highlight of the week.
The selection process for this year’s camp included a nomination by a teacher, a completed application, and an interview. The camp accepted 60 girls throughout the state. For the 2019 camp CCAAUW selected representatives from the following schools: Lindenwold Middle School, Pennsauken Middle School, Environmental Community Opportunity Charter School, Gibbsboro School, and Ann Mullen Middle School. Congratulations campers!

Volunteers Needed!
Tech Trek needs volunteers! Consider helping for a day or the week. If you have a few hours, then consider helping stuff backpacks for the camp before camp opens. Are you available for a day? You could assist with the orientation, check-in, or check out procedures. If you prefer to interact with the girls, you could assist with the workshops during camp. Volunteers are welcome for the entire week. View the Tech Trek NJ volunteer page for details.
